Every Axis Direct Labs vial carries a batch number, and every verified batch is publicly searchable. This article walks through how to confirm that the lot in your hand matches its independent third-party Certificate of Analysis β a process that takes about thirty seconds.
Step 1: find the batch number on the label
The batch (or lot) number is printed on each vial label and typically follows a format such as ADL-XXX-001. It is the unique identifier that links the physical vial to its testing documentation. Write it down or keep the vial handy before you verify.
Step 2: open the COA Registry
Scanning the QR code on the label opens the COA Registry and automatically highlights the matching batch. You can also open the registry directly and type or paste the batch number into the search field β it matches on compound name, batch number, or lot number.
Step 3: confirm the key fields
Once the matching record appears, confirm that the following match your vial and your expectations:
- Compound name β matches the product you ordered.
- Batch number β matches the number printed on your vial label.
- Purity β the percentage reported by the independent laboratory.
- Identity result β confirmation that the compound is what it claims to be.
- Test date and testing laboratory β recent, and the lab is named and verifiable.
If everything matches, the lot is verified against its independent documentation. If a batch number returns no result, or the fields do not match the label, contact support before using the material.
